After-hours parties (5-8pm) start at $1,059 for 40 guests. Send us an email — we’ll let you know available dates and estimated costs for your group.
Cancellation Policy
Party time, Rain or shine!
Parties canceled 30+ days from the booked party date will be refunded.
Parties canceled less than 30 days from the booked party date will not refunded, but may be rescheduled up to a year from the original party date (based on availability).
We know that weather is out of everyones control and our activities are outdoors. If weather unpredictability is a huge concern for your group, we recommend booking the indoor party room

purchase additional tickets at the gift shop on the day of your event
add cave tours as an extra party activity for ages 7+
enjoy free access to the playground, firetruck slide, and Bigfoot Walking Trail
We are not staffed to assist with party set-up / breakdown or hosting / managing birthday activities. Be sure to bring a few grown-ups to help manage your party crew.

Purchasing adult admission is required for cave tours and the petting zoo. Please keep a ratio of (1:5) — at least 1 adult for every 5 kids.
If you are not planning to pay for extra parents of party guests (beyond the required ratio), please communicate in advance so they arrive prepared to purchase their own tickets.

Yes! We know RSVPs can be tricky. You can add guests on the day of your party by purchasing tickets in the gift shop. Or reach out via email and we can add tickets to your online party reservation.

Yes, you are free to bring party food and drinks. Please remember to bring plates / cups / utensils — anything you will need to host your party.
The enclosed room has a trash can and trash bags for clean up after your event.

Food trucks are not permitted during regular business hours unless they are booked by Olentangy Caverns staff and available to all guests on the property.

All party activities are outdoors. Keep this in mind as you consider party choices and the time of year.
Activities can continue during light rain. If extreme weather occurs during your party, we will do our best to find a reschedule date within the next 2-3 weeks.

Please NO piñatas. We have amazing wildlife in our woods and the small pieces of trash and candy left behind can be harmful to our critters. Thank you for understanding!

No, we are not staffed to offer party hosting. Our team will give you the purchased wrist bands / gem mining dirt, etc when you check in. You can manage the flow of your party’s activities from there!

You certainly meet up with friends at one of the picnic tables on site. But groups of 10 or more should book a birthday party package.
All non-reservable areas are managed on a first come first served basis.

Sorry, no. To ensure the safety of all guests — especially our young explorers — we no longer offer charcoal grills and do not allow grills onsite.

10-person party update:
We’re excited to bring back our fall-themed activities. The grassy space around the 10-person party gazebo will be near the temporary activity areas.
If you’d rather be farther from the action, the 15-person or 20-person party locations may be a better fit.
