Please allow your child to take the lead and get experience making & selling goods.

Things to know:

-You will bring your own supplies: tent, table, lawn chair, etc. Tents must be 10' x 10' or smaller. Weights are required to keep your tent secure.

- Set up begins 60 minutes before the market start time.

- Booths will be set up on the main lawn of Olentangy Caverns (near the gift shop). This area is open to the public and does not require a paid ticket to enter.

- All belongings must fit within your booth space.

- There are no power outlets and no generators allowed. Please plan to sell items that do not require electricity.

- For the safety of our petting zoo animals, no pets are allowed on the property.

IS EVERY BOOTH APPROVED?

- If there are too many of the same category, we may reach out and suggest selling an alternate item.

- If your booth description doesn’t comply with the guidelines, we will let you know within 48 hours and refund your booth reservation.

BOOTH COST $29 INCLUDES:

- 1 reserved space for your 10’x10’ tent.

- 1 "Made by Me Market" t-shirt. Have multiple kids running the same booth? You can purchase additional shirts for $15/each.

Reserve a Booth

  • All vendors should be age 17 or younger.

  • In 2026, we're asking that families register for no more than 2 markets. We're thrilled with how many kids are interested in being vendors and would love to ensure more families get a market spot this year.

  • We ask that siblings share a booth space. You can have multiple tables in your tent area, and vendors with lots of variety tend to do well.

    If friends want to join together and share a booth space, that's great, too! Just be sure to order additional t-shirts if that's important to your kids.

  • That's totally up to you. A professional set-up is not required.

    Some kids take it more seriously, designing logos and printing labels. Younger ones make hand-drawn signs and write their prices. The breadth is what makes it fun.

    Our goal is to provide kids a spot to learn about business, handle money, talk to customers, and discover the joy of making something and seeing someone else appreciate it.

  • 📍 Location

    The Made by Me Market will take place outdoors on the main lawn (right in front of the gift shop) at Olentangy Caverns: 1779 Home Rd, Delaware, OH 43015

    ⏰ Arrival & Set-Up

    Vendor check-in begins at 12:00 PM.

    If your setup is quick, feel free to arrive anytime between 12pm - 12:30pm, but allow enough time for unloading, setup, and getting ready. Please plan to be onsite no later than 12:30pm.

    Upon arrival, please check in with the event coordinator. We’ll assign your booth space and provide your child’s t-shirt. The event coordinator will be outside on the main lawn area wearing a Made by Me Market t-shirt.

    You may drive up near your booth area to unload, but vehicles must be moved to the parking lot for the afternoon.

    Booths should be completely set up and ready to go by 12:50 PM.

  • The most saturated vendor category in 2025 was jewelry. If your child is a jewelry maker, you can help them stand out by adding something unique or unexpected to their items.

    Or consider choosing a less popular category of items to sell.

  • A booth reservation is $29 and includes:

    - 1 reserved space for your 10’x10’ tent

    - 1 shirt

    Have multiple kids running the same booth? You can purchase additional shirts for $15/each.

  • The goal is around 20 vendors. These markets are relatively small because we want each kid to have a great sales day. If we create too many spots, it’s less likely that there will be enough customers for every vendor to succeed.

  • Sorry, no. In order to continue the markets, we need to streamline our operations. We’ll focus our energy on having a better system to mark your tent location.
