Fun things to do with kids in Columbus, Ohio

2027 season: March 18 - October 31

Sat & Sun 9:30am - 6pm

Mon - Fri 9:30am - 5pm

We’re open every day during the season. (Yes, even holidays!) On wet days, bring a rain jacket and wear shoes that can get damp. During times of flash flooding aboveground, the cave may be closed for 1 - 3 hours while rain water makes its way through the cave.

Activities & Prices

Join us for single-day camps on days when school’s out, because nature exploring doesn’t need a fall break!

Designed for children ages 6-12 who enjoy adventure, discovery, nature, animals, rocks, building, and hands-on challenges.

We will explore the cave, meet animals in the petting zoo, and go gem mining.

BONUS ACTIVITY (Nov 3 only): campfire & s’mores! Because Olentangy Caverns will be closed to the public, we’re able to have a cozy campfire in the afternoon.
