The online ticketing is simply a convenience for you!
You can purchase tickets online in advance to save time OR purchase when you arrive on site. All activities are self-guided, so we do not sell out.

The cave tour is self-guided and lasts approximately 30 minutes. You’re free to wander at your leisure, listen to the 7 recorded audio stations, and read the informational plaques. Because there are no set tour times, you DO NOT need to book in advance.

All Access Passes are not sold after 3pm because we want to ensure you have enough time to complete all activities during your visit! From 3pm - 5pm we shift to selling only a la carte activities. We recommend arriving no later than 2pm if you plan to enjoy all activities during your visit.

We sell water, bottled soft drinks (gatorade, soda, etc), and candy. We do not sell food, but we have a large shelter house available for picnics. You are welcome to bring your own food. In fact, we’d love it if you did so you can stay a while and enjoy all the activities!

NO. For the safety of our petting zoo animals and other guests, we ask that you do not bring dogs with you. We love animals (of course we do!), but the presence of predators (yes, even your sweet dog) can become extremely stressful for our herd.
-
Please bring your paperwork and present it to a manager in the main gift shop. Unfortunately, even service dogs cannot be in or around the petting zoo for the safety of other guests and the entire herd. While your animal is trained for the situation, our animals are not — and it can become extremely stressful for them.
-
Yes, the mixed feed DOES include peanuts. The petting zoo is NOT a peanut-free zone. We have alternate petting zoo food (crackers) — however, we cannot guarantee that they have not been in contact with peanuts.
-
We are open rain or shine — every day — during the season. The cave and gift shops are protected from rain. All other activities are outdoors. While some areas have significant tree cover (walking trail, petting zoo) other areas have no cover from the elements (Treasure Hunt Maze). Please bring a light rain jacket and water-friendly shoes on days where rain may occur during your visit. We do not offer rain checks.

Yes, we are open every single day from approximately April 1 - October 31, including ALL major holidays. Some years we open 1 week early to accommodate local spring breaks.

As most of our activities are outside, it becomes less financially viable to stay open in the off season when our number of daily visitors drops significantly. This also allows our staff time to make updates, since we are never closed once we open for the season.
DO I HAVE TO BOOK A PARTY PACKAGE TO HAVE MY BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THE CAVERNS?
YES, planned birthday or event gatherings are required to book a birthday party package. This ensures that you have a reserved space for your group, while also ensuring that public space is available for other customers on the property.
All non-reservable areas are managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Decorating a space that you have not officially reserved is not permitted.
